Personal Description:

Hi! I'm Holly and am a student reading International Business and Spanish at Leeds. I have been learning Spanish since I was 11 years old and got A*s in both GCSE Spanish and A-level Spanish. Every summer I go to Spain to get more practical use of the language because I think that is important. I'm happy to teach anyone from those who have no knowledge of Spanish or those who are a little more advanced in their learning of it. I am available pretty much all of the time and will fit my schedule around yours. So come on, let's give it a go!

Teaching Experience:

So last summer I went to Madrid for 6 weeks to work as an au pair with 2 small children who both had no knowledge of the English language. My job was to improve that massively and I can report that by the end of my stay I was able to have a normal conversation in English with the 6-year-old girl and the 3-year-old could understand and communicate with me too!
I also have a younger sister who is also studying Spanish at school and I help her with her homework and any other issues she may have.

Teaching Approach:

I'm adaptable to whatever the student may desire, whether that is just having a normal conversation in Spanish to practise speaking skills in preparation for your holiday abroad or a more focused lesson on exam technique and grammar. Having done Spanish A-level exams fairly recently I have good knowledge of the spec and will be able to help out fairly easily.
I will prepare for all of the lessons planned so you can be sure your money won't be going to waste.
