Personal Description:
I am a native German speaker, born in Osnabrück. I moved to the UK at the age of 24 in 2003. I have been living in Leeds for the last 19 years. Our son has been brought up bilingual. I love languages and have been teaching myself some French and Spanish. I am a big believer in the importance of the knowledge of languages. It opens up the world and gives the person speaking the possibility to engage with people from all over the world.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching our son German from young age and am also a qualified Yoga Teacher. In my current role at work I teach engineering apprentices electrical engineering.
Teaching Approach:
I believe that teaching is a skill that is underrated. If the teacher is able to engage the students and ignite the passion for the subject then he truly is a good teacher. I find out where the students are with their knowledge, listen to them and help them to improve on their own pace.
