Information About Hesham - Leeds teacher

Personal Description:

Hi, I’m Hesham, a 26 year old doctor from Bahrain. I’m a native Arabic speaker, born and raised in Bahrain where we speak the khaleeji dialect ( Dialect spoken in the Arabian gulf countries: Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait ,Bahrain, Oman). I am also fluent in Standard Arabic. I am a licensed medical doctor and have worked in Bahrain and Oman. I am also a fluent English speaker and writer with an A* in GCSE English and a band 7 in IELTS. I believe what sets me apart is my bubbly, easy going personality which makes me click with my student instantly and will make our conversations flow freely and our lessons more enjoyable. I have privately tutored foreign kids in Bahrain for 3 years with excellent results.

Teaching Approach:

I believe that speaking and making mistakes ( while having a fluent person rectify you) is the best way to learn a language and speak it fluently. I will prepare an important topic before each lesson ( depending on the level of the student) and we will start speaking freely within that topic. I will rectify your mistakes, pronunciation and grammar, all while making the lesson fun and far away from being a chore. This approach will strengthen your listening, pronunciation and confidence when speaking the language. Note: I WILL NOT LECTURE YOU OR GIVE GRAMMAR/ WRITING/SPELLING LESSONS ( you need an education certified Standard Arabic tutor for that). I can tutor both children and adults.
