Information About Helen - Malvern teacher

Personal Description:

I am passionate about supporting learners as they work to improve their English language skills, whether they are a complete beginner or advanced level! Having studied German and Spanish, I understand the challenges and joys of learning another language, and I know how important it can be to improve skills such as speaking and writing.

Different countries and cultures fascinate me, and I have had the opportunity to live and work in Guatemala, Bulgaria, Egypt and Cyprus. I have also travelled in North and Central America, western and eastern Europe and the Middle East. After living abroad for almost 20 years, I am now based in Malvern in Worcestershire.

Teaching Experience:

Since I started teaching over 20 years ago, I have helped hundreds of learners improve their English. I work with adults at all levels, from beginner to advanced, and offer general English courses, specialist courses in English for healthcare, preparation for the Occupational English Test and preparation for the IELTS Life Skills test.

Teaching Approach:

All lessons focus on improving communication and are tailored to individual needs, depending on your aims, reasons for learning, background and interests, focusing on speaking, listening, writing and/or reading as required. Lessons take place in a friendly and supportive environment! Currently all lessons are online, so you can learn with me wherever you are in the world!
