Bonjour ! Guten Tag ! Hello! I am a fully qualified French, German and English Teacher from the UK and I have just started using this platform to teach online. Whether you are aiming to pass an exam, improve your conversation skills or grasp tricky grammatical concepts, I can help you achieve your goals. 1-1 lessons are the perfect way to make quick progress with all the focus on your personal learning needs.

Teaching Experience:

I have four years of experience teaching languages to children, teenagers and adults. I worked for 3 years in secondary schools in Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. In my last school I doubled the uptake of GCSE French for two years running and all my GCSE students achieved their target grade or higher, with 90% achieving grades 5-9. I am currently working as an English Teacher in Greece, teaching adults and children, preparing students for LanguageCert IESOL examinations. Before becoming a teacher I worked in music management in France and Germany, using my language skills on a regular basis. I therefore understand first hand the challenges learners face as well as the vast rewards that speaking another language provides. I have excellent linguistic knowledge and am able to demystify complicated grammar points and pronunciation difficulties.

Teaching Approach:

I am patient, friendly and kind and my lessons are lively, interactive and student centred. Learning languages is all about stepping out of your comfort zone and not being afraid to make mistakes. This is how we learn so let's go!
