Personal Description:

Dynamic and ambitious, I like to be useful and involve myself in cultural and artistic projects whatever its involved only one person having a personal project or plenty of persons having a bigger project. You could see me reading or travelling.
Yoga and mediation are also part of my life.
My favourite occupation (teaching) has been revealed at my teenager age when my great Math level allows me to help my friend to understand better Mathematic and its logic.

Teaching Experience:

Music has always been part of my life. My experiences and diploma allowed me to be employed as a music teacher in several primary school (teaching to children age 2 till 11) as well as a trombone and piano teacher (age 7 till 14 and few adults) in music school.

At the same time I was music teacher, I was Math teacher, employed by an insurance company to teach Math and Physic (at the first point) to children (mainly teenager 13-17) that were too ill to go to school or couldn’t go to school everyday because of their frequent visit to the hospital. Family being very happy to see their children improvement, and even sometime, been in advance of the school program, even with less time spend at school, I have been asked to teach other subject than math and to extent my services to other family members (brother and sister) as a private teacher.

French: I then decided to travel to see different part of our world and landed in USA (where I have decided to learn English language). I have been employed for one year, to work for a famous language company, offering summer camp as well as school (primary, secondary and young adult), family and adult weekend program in 14 languages, during the whole year. The teaching method was base on active learning. No books were used, only game, song, various activities as sport, art craft, theatre and lot more (exactly as a summer camp but speaking always in French to American children)
As French Native Speaker I have been employed to promote the French language, my functions were:
- assisting the director,
- leading a team of foreign counsellor that was there to improve their French by working for the French camp and speaking French to the children
- advising the counsellor on activities to run in French language.
- running the activities with group of children, teenager, family or adults.

Teaching Approach:

Because each person is unique there are many ways to teach.

French: The foundation of my teaching method (active learning) has been revealed during my travel in USA. I use active method. Language is to be spoken so I like to play and put the student in real situation/experience (why not to go outside to drink a hot chocolate having a chat in French?). Therefore around 70% of the lesson is done without books, and around 15% will be to review and correct some important point (grammar, pronunciation…) via internet exercise or special practise… and 15% will be to empower special target.
I also like to base my lessons on monthly/quarterly or yearly project that the student have (could be simply a coming exam or something more personal: want to visit France and have family time there for a weekend or longer… leave your daughter or your son to organise the weekend with my help!).
Because I trust skills are transferrable from one subject to another (logic, deduction…) I like to mix the subject… Why not to improve your math by having the explanation in French? Why not to review you history lesson in French language?
