Personal Description:

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Linguistics and have previously earned a Master’s degree in Education. I have completed a 120-hour Korean language teaching certification course and also hold a TESOL certificate. I am passionate about sharing the Korean language and culture with those who are interested in Korea, and I aim to create enjoyable and engaging learning experiences.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching for over 10 years, with experience in instructing English, Korean language, Korean history, and primary mathematics. I have taught Korean to foreign workers and immigrants in Korea, and in London, I taught Korean language and history to second-generation children to help them preserve and strengthen their cultural roots.

Teaching Approach:

I design my lessons in a well-organized and engaging manner, always incorporating fun elements to maintain learners’ interest. Consistency is key in all learning, and I make sure to create a learning environment where learners not only enjoy their time but also see tangible improvements in their skills. As a speaker of English and Chinese as second languages, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and approach teaching with empathy and effectiveness.
