Personal Description:
Qualified and experienced Italian, Spanish and Portuguese Teacher, currently working as a teacher and tutor. Teaches Italian, Spanish and Portuguese from Prep and Key Stage 3 through to GCSE, IGCSE and A level; across all major Exam Boards. Provides language tuition for businesses and adult learners; from beginner to advanced levels.
Teaching Experience:
After qualifying as a Teacher, I have taught Italian in a Comprehensive School to the 11-18 age group. I have tutored teenagers and adults privately in Italian, Portuguese and Spanish
Teaching Approach:
I posses great communication skills what allows me to teach people of all ages. Usually, my lectures are developed with conversation, audio-visual materials, articles and other texts, listening and comprehension and roleplay, but they will always be adapted to your personal needs and also you will be able to learn about different cultures and idiomatic expressions.
I’m able to drive to your place, so you can learn Languages within the comfort of your home and I can adapt myself to your needs, whether you need Italian/portuguese/spanish just for your holidays or for your work.

Francesco is a professional teacher and a great communicator, he paces his lessons really well and uses a fun variety of resources. From Kirstie (/5): Francesco creates interesting and well-structured lessons. He works hard to make sure they stretch you a little without being too difficult. He is also very patient. The lesson is provided in good time so it is possible to prepare and if you are willing to do some homework you can progress very well. Thank you!
From Molly (/5): Francesco has a very good structure to his lessons, with a good combination of speaking, listening and reading. Even through a zoom call, Francesco manages to make the lessons engaging and fun and is a very good teacher.
He is able to explain anything you are unsure of and gives independent study work to help you work out things for yourself too.
Francesco asks questions and allows you to think about the structure of sentences and the grammar without telling you everything so that you are not just learning by memory.

From Philip (/5): Francesco is a great tutor. Easy-going, but with a lot of experience in tutoring Italian. Notably, he draws upon a variety of resources and lessons including a certain amount of speaking, listening, reading and even a game or two in each lesson. All of this helps information sink in and become second nature. He's a lovely guy, very friendly and warm and ready with a joke. He's also generous with his time and knowledge and a pleasure to learn with. Highly recommended.
