Personal Description:

I am a passionate and flexible multilinguist. I fluently speak and write Italian, English, German, Spanish and French, which I have applied studying and working in different parts of Europe such as Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK, where I currently reside.
This is complemented by my Bachelor Degree in foreign languages and literatures along with my Master Degree in Languages for Corporate Communication and Translation, as well as years of working experience in international and multicultural contexts.

I have extensive experience in translation, linguistic mediation, and corporate communication in English, Spanish, German, Italian, and French. I have a goal-oriented attitude and I'm willing to discuss and adopt with each student a customized approach.

Whether you are an employee with a specific purpose, a student of any year and level or you're interested in the target language and culture for personal reasons, it is never too late to start learning and improve your language skills, this can happen only if you feel comfortable with the person you learn with and by setting clear targets.

Teaching Approach:

I have a communicative approach and my aim is to help you develop the tools for building the main blocks for an effective communicative competence. Fluency comes through communicating in the target language so we will focus on learning in context through use, without putting too much emphasis on error correction, but rather focusing on activities, where you, as a tutee, and me, as a tutor can work on situations through narration and negotiation.

In addition, emphasis will be put on tasks and specific topics and areas. As a language learner, you will be asked to use the language to complete a variety of assignments allowing you to expand your skill-set, develop your vocabulary, and acquire new forms, as well as structures. Also, according to the specific needs of the learner (i.e. use of the target language in written formats in a professional setting), we can set specific grammar-refresher sessions; in this case, grammar won’t be left in isolation, but rather applied to a specific context.
