Personal Description:

I enjoy teaching Farsi as I feel it's important that our children, grand children and partners learn about our language and culture. I like to teach both children and adults, from beginner to A- level and University.

I'm patient, passionate, and punctual and would expect my student to be as dedicated as I am.

Prices will vary should you require me to travel to you or if you wish to be taught in a group.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching Farsi for the past Twenty Five years to all ability groups, with my students ranging from three years old to professional adults.

For nine years I taught at Rustam Iranian School in London. At the moment I am teaching professional adult learners who have passion for the language or need the language for business or research purpose.

Teaching Approach:

When teaching beginners, we use gesture or body language. It is a different language in total that learners are not familiar with the sounds or use of vocals.

I like to add an element of fun to my lessons when teaching my younger students to help keep them engaged using puppets, computer and Iranian cartoon as aides to help them learn both sides of the conversation and tense.

Between classes, I would ask that my students complete homework for the following week and practice what has been taught in the lesson.
