안녕하세요! About to start your Korean journey??!! I am here for you. Let's start learning Korean together. :)

I am Angela(Eunjung) from South Korea and a native Korean speaker. I was educated in both Korea and the U.S.A. I studied Tourism in Korea, and because of that major, I also learned Japanese. Additionally, I earned a degree in Linguistics and TESOL in the U.S. I completed a short course in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language in the UK. I have lived in the Eastbourne area for more than ten years.

Teaching Experience:

During my time in the U.S… I taught the Korean language to Americans for two years. Also, due to my major, I learned Japanese and taught English to non-native English speakers while in the U.S. After completing my education in the U.S… I returned to Korea and worked as a freelance English teacher at Samsung and other companies.
I have experience teaching English at a summer school in Eastbourne.
For the past few years, I have been teaching Korean in the UK.

Teaching Approach:

As I have learned and taught languages, I think getting to know the culture of the target languages is quite important. I love to share my culture and my mother tongue with you. We will do grammar, speaking, reading and some writings.
However, all depending on your interests and needs.
Lessons will be held via Google meet.

From Rosemary (5/5): Eunjung has been an excellent teacher for me as I am new to the language, and she has been patient as well as engaging. I think it must be hard to keep someone interested as well as making progress at such a basic level, but Eunjung has been so good at finding things that interest me and inspire me to keep learning. After 6 months I feel I have the confidence to try out my Korean when we next visit. I'm not the most dedicated student(!), but I have still managed to make lots of progress and, most importantly, the lessons are a lot of fun! It has been a very collaborative approach too, and I feel comfortable asking to repeat things, or get more practice in certain areas. I'd highly recommend Eunjung to anyone on a journey to learn Korean!
