Personal Description:

I am an enthusiastic, accomplished and friendly teacher who loves her job and gets a great deal of satisfaction from seeing students achieve their goals.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching English for over ten years. I am CELTA qualified (with a high grade) and over the last few years have taught privately and in a language school in central London to students from all over the world, from teenagers to adults. I spent 18 months in Hanoi, Vietnam, teaching mainly Vietnamese students in a language centre. This was a rewarding and wonderful experience. I teach all levels, from elementary to advanced and also IELTS and Cambridge exam preparation. This includes all the main skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing. As a trained actor I can also help students focus on pronunciation, stress and intonation. I can also help students looking for business English or English for work. I’m currently conducting lessons online with the view to getting back to face to face teaching when appropriate.

Teaching Approach:

I believe in a relaxed approach to teaching but at the same time working hard to help the student reach their goals. Naturally a warm person, I can help students who lack confidence with their speaking and believe that encouragement is very important. We will work together and I will create suitable lessons tailored to the students needs.
