Personal Description:

Whatever the reason, you've come to the right person!

With over 4 years in the field, as well as a degree in modern languages and international relations, I can help you reach your goals, no matter your age or ability.

Have you found learning languages boring and hard? Not anymore! I have a passion for making learning languages fun and immersive by using authentic materials.

I will tailor the learning experience to your interests and preferences to make learning French incredibly enjoyable. I can help especially for UK school exams such as GCSEs and A-Levels.

I studied French and German at university for 4 years, including living abroad in both France and Germany. Not only did I study the language, but also the history, culture, literature, politics, film, performing arts - you name it! While at university, I went into local schools to inspire students to love languages as much as I do!

Fun Fact: I love learning languages and at the moment I'm learning Kinyarwanda, the language spoken in Rwanda; it's a beautiful language and has quite a few French influences because of colonialism!

Teaching Experience:

I have a Bachelor's Degree in French and German, including living in both France and Germany.

While studying French and German at university, we had practical modules of teaching other students.

For 2 years, I was part of a team which went into local schools. We gave presentations and short lessons to inspire young people to learn languages!

I was also a peer educator while at university, addressing any issues or concerns new Modern Languages students had in their studies. I was able to help them in areas they found difficult with learning French and German, as well as any personal concerns.

I have expertise in a range of topics about French culture. At university, we not only learnt about the language, but also the history, politics, film, performing arts, literature etc.

In my own language-learning journey, I love to make things fun and interactive for myself and others. I will consider your interests and preferences to make our lessons memorable and enjoyable.
