Personal Description:

Hi, I am Elena, Italian from Bologna, currently living in the UK.

I studied at Alma Mater Studiorum University in Bologna for a year, getting the highest marks in exams such as "Italian Language and Linguistics", before returning to my art studies.

I have pursued art studies since my teenage years, initially studying Fine Arts and Sciences with a specialisation in Architecture and Design. I obtained a 1st class Bachelor of Arts degree at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna in Painting and Photography, where I also worked as a professor's assistant in the etching class for a couple of years. I studied at Chelsea College of Arts for the Graduate Diploma in Fine Art (Distinction) and am finishing my MA in Art and Science at Central Saint Martins (UAL).

I have the enhanced DBS check.

Teaching Experience:

I hold the TIAFL certification (Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language) from the Italian Cultural Institute of London, with grade A (Excellent). I've also been teaching on online platforms (e.g. **Contact Detail Removed** and **Contact Detail Removed**) for about a year, and have helped, from time to time, international students with their Italian for many years.

Teaching Approach:

I usually provide the material for my Italian lessons, including videos, authentic dialogues, and interactive exercises I create with web apps.
As a fully educated native Italian speaker, I can help you with your Italian studies at all levels, lang&lit, writing, or just conversation, beginner to advanced. I provide language support and correction for dissertations, PhD theses, essays, or any other writing piece that needs to be reviewed.
I am also happy to organise online classes if you want to learn Italian with your friends or family (max 8 students).
