Personal Description:
I have been a German language teacher for 10 years at all levels. My native language is German and I also speak Dutch. Before that I used my languages extensively while working in Banking. I enjoy languages and teaching.
Teaching Experience:
I have extensive experience with groups, one to one and online lessons.
Lessons are tailored to the individual and structured for effective learning. Age groups I have taught range from 8 to 60 years old. I also have experience teaching German to businesses.
Teaching Approach:
Lessons have to be enjoyable and effective. To achieve this I tailor my lessons to the learner and provide plenty of motivation which is so important when learning a new language.

From Justin (/5): Having decided to study German for the very first time, I knew that I would require a tutor who was both patient and professional in equal measure. Dominic delivers on both counts. Being of German decent, Dominic's grasp of proper German pronunciation is invaluable, especially if one is hoping to speak native at some point.
Dominic also has a unique insight into German business culture and typical every day life and is able to offer information on culture and German best practice, so that common faux pas can be avoided.
I would whole heartedly recommend Dominic as a tutor, his learning style is fun and relaxed and he encourages one to get the most out of every session. I am continuing to learn with Dominic and feel every session is productive and worthwhile. I am at a point in my education now, where the next lesson cannot come around quick enough!
