Personal Description:

I'm a native German offering German/ English + English/ German translations as well as writing & speaking lessons online.
I'm originally from Hamburg, but live in the UK now for 2 1/2 years with my english partner, our little son and our dog.
Travelling is one of my biggest Hobbies- i love different languages, cultures, food etc. and love trying new things.

Family and friends are very important to me and mean the world to me.

People describe me as very outgoing, enthusiastic, happy and motivated + motivating. Characteristics which are very helpful for teaching a language in my opinion.

Teaching Experience:

I’m a native German and have lived in Germany for 30 years until I moved to the UK. I have always been in contact with different languages and cultures - especially in the last 3 years I'm constantly translating German-English as well as English-German for family and friends. I also help out with German lessons for those who want to learn.
I have the German Abitur (The highest ranking A Level qualifications in Germany).
I can tutor German from beginner to advanced.

Teaching Approach:

I will first find out which level of German you intend to learn and where your education level is currently at. I will focus my tutoring in the areas you find the most difficult, whether that is conversation skills, vocabulary, grammar or other. - I teach individually - because one method can be completely perfect for one student, but ineffective for another one. It's not up to how it is the easiest for me - it's up to how YOU learn the best and easiest.
