Personal Description:
I am a qualified Korean language tutor with a Master's degree in Korean Education as a Foreign Language from Korea University and a Bachelor's degree in Korean Language & Literature, as well as Media, from SookMyung Women’s University.
Over the years, I’ve gained valuable experience teaching Korean to students from various backgrounds. I’ve taught international students at IH Edinburgh from 2022 to 2024, and I also taught Korean language and culture to Korean children at Edinburgh Korean School from 2022 to 2023. Additionally, I have experience teaching Japanese students at Sungkonghoe University in Seoul (2019), international students at Korea University (2018), and providing lessons via phone to Chinese students through Phone Korean (2018).
I offer interactive and flexible online lessons via Zoom, as well as in-person lessons in Dundee, St Andrews, and surrounding areas. My lessons are customized to each student's needs, focusing on conversation, grammar, writing, or preparing for exams like TOPIK. I also share insights into Korean culture, history, and trends like K-POP.
I can help students of all levels—from beginners to advanced learners—whether they are looking to understand Korean for travel, work, academic purposes, or a deeper appreciation of K-POP.
