Personal Description:

I am a Cambridge University graduate having a degree in French and German and have spent 18 months living abroad, 1 year in Hamburg and six months working for an oil company in Paris.

Teaching Experience:

I have several years experience of working with school students preparing and coaching them for GCSE and A Level examinations. I have also taught French and German at evening classes at a local Adult Education College in Chester over a period of 3 years.

Teaching Approach:

I concentrate on the spoken language and seek to improve fluency skills first and then highlight the grammar rules. I like to bring in the national culture of Franc or Germany into lessons as well when appropriate. I use course books, games activities and CDs as teaching support but the main aim is to make language learning fun.
