Personal Description:
I have been teaching in adult education for a number of years now. I have an Honours degree in English, PG Diploma in IT, City and Guilds Adult Teacher's Certificate (Stages 1 & 2), TEFL and TEFL Business English qualification. I am also happy to assist with proof reading essays and dissertations etc.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching for some years now in the Adult Education sector. In the past, I have taught Key and Basic Skills (Communication and Literacy), TEFL from beginners to Academic IELTS, supported adults returning to education and students with learning disabilities.
Teaching Approach:
I have an informal and relaxed approach to tutoring. I actively encourage students to feel that I am aproachable as this facilitates a good classroom environment. It is of the utmost importance to me that students should achieve their potential. I find that taking an informal attitude to teaching enables students to learn at their own pace without feeling pressurised.
