Personal Description:

Γεια σου! My name is Christina and I am a passionate native Modern Greek Teacher. My background from my undergraduate Classical studies as well as my postgraduate Moral Philosophy/Ethics studies,in combination with QTS certificate, gave me the chance to work with everything that I love, hence teaching Modern Greek as a second language.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching Modern Greek as a second language since 2014 in London, both to adults and children.
My expertise is the preparation of A Level Modern Greek students in order to succeed and to achieve the A* grade in their final exams.
I currently work as an A Level Teacher in a Greek School and I teach Modern Greek in groups and in one-to-one tuition.

Teaching Approach:

My approach of teaching is communicative, and my aim is the beginner student to be confident and able to speak Greek from the very beginning as well as to start exploring all aspects of Modern Greek language.
With regards to more advanced students, my guidance will focus on further enhancing their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, as well as the further development on the vocabulary and the grammar/syntax.
All lessons are based and planned according to the students' needs.
I am always positive and encouraging, creating a pleasant learning environment where the knowledge goes hand-in hand with fun.
