Information About Christelle - Forest Hill teacher

Personal Description:

My name is Christelle, I am French and I live in the UK.

I have a Business Diploma, a BA in English, and an MA in Applied Languages.

I have been a freelance translator for 5 years, I have briefly worked in museums, and now I share my passion for culture & linguistics by offering French courses online.

Teaching Experience:

I started teaching in 2020.
I put courses online on learning platforms such as Udemy.

Teaching Approach:

My goal is to help you learn and speak French, and to give you confidence in your skills.

Together we will work on your listening, reading, and writing skills, but we will more importantly focus on your speaking skill.

While it is possible to find books, CDs, online courses to learn French, it can be difficult to practice the skills you have acquired.

Having your own French tutor is an opportunity for you to listen and speak in a real life situation, and to get feedback on your skills. We will have proper conversations, where you can express yourself and learn without limits.

The content of my lessons will be 100% adapted to your needs and your goals.

We can focus on your hobbies and interests, or on your professional activity if your goals are more career oriented.

I am also passionate about what makes each country special, and I would therefore be very happy to focus the content on cultural topics. We can read about, and discuss, topics such as the different regions & cities of France, the latests news, cultural life… and let's not forget food! :)

The goal is also to keep the content fresh and exciting, and maybe even to make you want to travel, taste the food, chat with local French people, explore the French heritage.
