Personal Description:

Hi, I am a native speaker from Shanghai with a standard accent, a qualified experienced Mandarin teacher for speakers of other languages with 10 years experience. I am very patient, fun, creative, easygoing and optimistic.

My passions are making Mandarin learning fun easy and effective to help students achieve language aim and know more about Mandarin, Chinese culture, China, Chinese and adapt to China's life more quickly and exploring ancient human wise, thinking patterns, cultures, human nature through languages.

I love cooking, traveling, movies, listening to music, exploring different cultures, learning dance and instruments, riding bikes, interior design, gardening, going to the theatre…

Teaching Experience:

I am a qualified Mandarin teacher with 10 years’ teaching experience of Mandarin to speakers of other languages in Chinese language schools and bilingual kindergardens in China and Australia. I has taught group classes, 1on2 classes, 1on1 classes and online classes for all levels. My students are from all over the world from all ages from 2 years old to 65 years old, most of them are working professionals, housewives, internship students and children.

I love teaching Mandarin. It is a truly rewarding job to see students improve, get confidence in using Mandarin and get adapted to China's life well.

Teaching Approach:

I use a communicative language teaching and a variety of teaching methods which depend on your Chinese goal and your learning style. If you want to improve your speaking and listening, I will use 80%-100% Mandarin and make you speak Mandarin as much as possible during the class. I will teach and guide you, develop your interest to be self-motivated, reach your goal and make challenging parts easier and fun to learn and remember.
