Personal Description:
Hi! My name is Celine, I am a graduate student from Oxford University, where I studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics. I am originally from Germany, but my parents are from China, which is why I grew up speaking both languages. Studying in the UK has broadened my horizon not only academically but also personally. I am passionate about learning new languages and would love to pass this passion unto others.
Teaching Experience:
I started tutoring in high school, teaching courses like Maths and English. At university, I have much experience with tutoring in person as well as online, having been a tutor with FirstTutors for about 2 years. I have taught German, Mandarin and also gave lessons in Politics and Government.
Teaching Approach:
My approach to teaching is that education should open the students' minds, not close them. To keep the lessons engaging, I conduct them in an interactive way with a diversity of exercises. Furthermore, I am always open for the students' suggestions and wishes. If they wish to learn about a particular topic, I am more than delighted to help them do so!
