Personal Description:
Bilingual native born and raised in the UK. Oxford University graduate in French and Italian. PGCE in Secondary Languages Teaching.
I can teach in the Camden or Hammersmith area or anywhere in between!
Teaching Experience:
8 years teaching year 7-13 French, Spanish and Italian. 6 years teaching at prep schools (ages 4-13). In my 4th year as Head of Department of Languages (we teach French, Spanish, Latin, Mandarin, Italian).
I have taught in comprehensive state schools and selective independent schools so I have an ability to cater to all needs.
I have taught GCSE, A-level, Pre-U and Common Entrance examinations.
Teaching Approach:
I offer bespoke lessons, specifically tailored to each individual's needs and preferences. I enjoy academic rigour with a grammatical focus as much as placing an emphasis on speaking and playing educational games. I can adapt easily and enjoy using a variety of tools such as mini white boards, pictures, worksheets, current affairs, songs and so on. I am passionate about my subject and my main aim is to foster a love of languages in my pupils!
