Personal Description:
I am an excellent French and Spanish Tutor trained by Kingston College and have experience with children and young adolescent as well as adults. I give Spanish and French linguistic lecture, Culture and Diversity immersion program training at Kingston College. My academic formation is Anthropology Linguistic and Historian. I am also certified in forensic court translation (3 languages)
Teaching Experience:
I have given lecture and language teaching in public and private organisation. I teach at Esher Green ALC school French and make lecturing presentation
Teaching Approach:
My teaching method is dynamic using many activities and support tolls. I simply love teaching and tutoring and get excellent result.
I use flipchart, illustrations, role play, games to boost student’s confidence. My learning support method provide skills for life.

From A Davis (/5): Ms is very professional and wonderful. My son didn't like French at all when he started the lessons with her. He loves Maths and Science but his French level was always below average. Under Ms guidance , in less than 10 weeks he not only jumped two levels at French, from level 3 to level 5, but he also started to love French and his French classes with Ms Eekhout and he considers taking his GCSE in French, which we hope for him to sit in year 9. (currently he is year 8). To be honest, this is a completely positive, fast and unexpected change for us. She also helped my son with his History homework since he didn't understand the Point, Evidence, Explanation process. Now he is very comfortable with these two subjects and we see him in his way to achieve a GCSE A* at both of them. A Davis

This one-to-one focus is something that the classroom environment can't accommodate. He already feels more confident and is understanding French grammar a lot better. It's probably because of this that we were unable to continue with regular sessions as our shedules weren't compatible. My daughter doesn't finish school most days until 6 pm and Catherine was only able to offer a Tuesday evening slot. If you are able to plan ahead, I would highly recommend Catherine and book her in early before the term starts…

I found Catherine through the first tutors website and was immediately impressed by the fantastic feedback from Catherine other students. I had no doubts at all from the very first lesson that we would work well together, catherine put me at ease straight away. I was struggling to get back into the flow of studying but through Catherine's tutoring I'm back on track and really enjoying my course. Catherine's passion for history is contagious an I would highly recommend her to anyone needing help with their study's.

From Stella (/5): Catherine is an exceptional tutor who has been able to engage and enthuse a previously demotivated 17 year old who had previously struggled to get any enjoyment or interest out of her AS/A level course. I would give her my full recommendation.
From Susan (/5): Catherine is an excellent tutor. She is reliable and extremely conscientious. My son actually enjoys her lessons (which in itself is a major step forward!). She seems to spend a lot of time preparing her lessons and brings a variety of visual aids each time she comes. How much is being retained?? We won't know until after the exams - but one thing I'm sure of is that if the answer to that question is "very little" - it is certainly not Catherine's fault - she has tried her very best!
