This is how 3 referees rated Carole:
I am a French native speaker. I have been living in England for 25 years. I am married to an Englishman and have two children (a 11-year old little boy and a 15-year old daughter). I have been speaking French to our two children from birth. Our daughter is completely bilingual French-English. Our son is slowly picking it up and can understand spoken French without any problem.
Due to family commitments, I can only tutor from home at present but I can tutor online.
I graduated from Anglia Polytechnic University in 2000 with a BA (Hons) in French with Qualified Teacher Status.
I have been teaching French since 2000 in local Secondary schools from Year 7 to Year 13. I am highly experienced and I am very familiar with the demand of the GCSE and A level curriculum.
I create my own material. My resources (which I would happily email to support my teaching) are up to date and all of them are created using Office. I use a lot of cliparts and pictures in all my resources to make them attractive to learners.
I believe that, in order to learn a language properly, you need to master its grammar. The way I teach grammar allows students to easily remember difficult rules.
As a French native speaker who has had to learn English and teach French using a language which isn't mine, I appreciate how hard it is to learn a foreign language.
