Information About Carlotta - Aberdeen teacher

Personal Description:

Hi everyone!
I am a Psychology student at the University of Aberdeen. However, my life and education experiences brought me to a great interest in and love for languages. Beside English and Italian, which is my native language, I speak fluent Spanish, Swedish, German and French.
In order to complete my high school level education, I lived in Gothenburg, Sweden, for two years, where took part in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. It was a great and challenging experience, where I Iearnt the importance of commitment, reliability and time management.
I love travelling and discovering new places and cultures, I find these experiences very enriching. Speaking to people in their native tongue is a fantastic feeling for me, being able to communicate and express my thoughts in different ways is very satisfying.

Teaching Experience:

During my time in Sweden I taught Italian to other fellow students in the school. We started from the basics, proceeding to an intermedia**Contact Detail Removed**vel where the students were able to have basic conversations in Italian and a good understanding of written and spoken language.

Teaching Approach:

My approach to teaching starts from the very basic rules of the grammar, building up to more complex expressions. I like implementing the teaching of grammar and vocabulary with interesting videos, facts, articles, idioms and information about the culture in relation to the language, in order to keep the students engaged.
