Information About Bria - Edinburgh teacher
This is how 2 referees rated Bria:
Since completing an undergraduate degree in Celtic and a masters degree in Language Policy and Planning, I have been working for six years in Gaelic policy and development. A fluent Gaelic speaker, I began learning 12 years ago when I moved to Scotland from Wisconsin.
I have been teaching three Gaelic classes for adults for a year. I have also worked with Gaelic learners in a supporting capacity (conversation circles, song workshops, etc) for the last five years.
I equip students with the skills and tools to take ownership of their own learning. I see my role as a guide and a support, introducing a variety of activities to develop different language skills as well as songs, stories and other cultural material. I strive to tailor tuition to each individual student's needs. I like my sessions to be challenging and enjoyable! I bring a sense of humour to all of my lessons.
