Personal Description:

I am a native German and professional Teacher and moved to the UK eight years ago. I studied Sport, Maths, Art and German at Augsburg University. Besides teaching I worked at Rehabilitation centres and Gyms. I love sports like Beach Volleyball, Tennis, Dance and Skiing. I am also trained in various Therapy techniques and am able to work for example with fear of examinations and other anxieties.
I am an outgoing open-minded person who loves to meet people.

Teaching Experience:

In Germany I worked at a secondary school teaching German, English and Sport. Since I moved to the UK I have been doing German Conversation with A-level students at different schools including private tuition helping them with their reading, writing and listening skills. I also ran an evening class for adults who want to practice their conversation skills. I help students who study German at University and teach German reading and writing skills to German children who live in the UK… My services also include translation work.

Teaching Approach:

Everybody learns a language in a different way and has got different aims. German is a logical language. I can deliver seemingly complicated grammar in an easy to understand way and make German conversation vivid, natural and interesting. I meet the needs and ways of learning of each student in a light and relaxed learning atmosphere. My love for the language makes teaching and learning enjoyable and easy.
