Personal Description:

I have a deep passion for the Spanish language, and when ever stepping into Spain. I always feel like it is my 2nd home! Although not native Spanish myself, I have several years experience working with the Spanish language, with time spent studying, living, working and visiting this lively, passionate and colourful country. I always put a strong emphasis on pronunciation and the importance of understanding and being able to say sounds, this can give you a massive head start to being understood and becoming familiar with the feel of Spanish as a language. Grammar is also a fantastic way for advancing your language tool kit and will again really boost your success with the language.

Teaching Experience:

My teaching experience varies from individual lessons for levels varying from Nat 5, to Higher Spanish or Advanced Spanish Higher, but also teaching small adult groups Spanish for leisure from beginners and upwards! I have also taught couples and individuals looking to move to Spain, wanting to become familiar with the Spanish language and culture. I have spent approximately 7 years teaching English Communication within a FE college setting, teaching students with a variety or learning styles and abilities.

Teaching Approach:

Whether learning for fun, a social experience, work or studying for a qualification, it is important that my students enjoy their time learning. Every individual learns in a variety of ways, for me this is every important and I will try to understand the different learning needs of each of my students, at the same time coming up with enjoyable and engaging ways to help you progress on your Spanish language journey.
