Personal Description:
My name is Ariel . I am a native spanish speaker since I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I hold a BA in International Studies, and MA in Latin American Studies and a PH. D in Spanish.
I have been teaching language for more than ten years. My language of expertise is Spanish. In addition, I also teach portuguese and conversational french.
Teaching Experience:
I teach all levels of spanish. From Beginners to advanced grammar and conversation. Each lesson is designed considering the interests/needs of each student. (i.e spanish for bussiness, spanish for travelling, job interview, etc… )
In addition, I also teach courses in Portuguese.
10 years teaching at University level (University of Miami, University of South Florida, Universidad Playa Ancha, Chile).
Classes can be individual or in groups.
Teaching Approach:
Language acquisition is a different process for each student. While teaching language, I emphasize on 4 skills: speaking, listening, reading and writting. My goal as an instructor is that each student is able to develop competency in their area of interest, ideally in all 4 skills, in a balanced and efficient way.
