Personal Description:

Teaching is not just a job for me, it's my passion and my mission.

Born and bred in the sunny Italian Riviera, I moved to the UK about 7 years ago, to teach my beautiful language abroad and encourage people to learn more about Italian culture.

If you think that learning a new language could be a boring and tough process, think again. My lessons will take you on a fun, relaxed and successful journey.

Teaching Experience:

I am CEDILS certified and I have over 10 years experience in private tutoring to learners of all ages and levels: 1:1, couple lessons and group lessons.

Teaching Approach:

Learning a language can be a daunting experience, especially if you are an absolute beginner.

That's why learning whilst having fun is key.

My lessons are tailored to suit anyone's needs and they always feature authentic materials to make the process more interesting.

A good balance between grammar and interactive activities (conversation, videos etc.) is the key to effectively learning a language.

I also teach online via Zoom or Skype, making my lessons as fun and interactive as those at home or in a classroom.

Couple and group lessons available, £5 extra for every additional student.

A little surcharge might be applied for more distant learners, to cover fuel costs.

She has a really good combination of professionalism as a teacher and a style of engagement which generates confidence and encourages me to speak. She also has a good approach to correcting grammatical or other conversational errors - she draws attention to major issues but encourages conversational flow by not picking up every single ending or conjugation error at the time. She is open to suggestions for content but also brings new ideas and challenges me to be more colloquial. Learning with her is improving my conversational Italian and lessons are always a pleasure. I would recommend her without hesitation.
