Personal Description:
I am a semi-retired MFL teacher with a life-long passion for languages and for learning. My own experiences of living and working both at home and abroad have nurtured in me a deep love of
languages and a keen appreciation of cultural diversity.
Teaching Experience:
My classroom experience spans over 30 years, working with both secondary school students and adults. I have extensive experience in teaching GCSE, AS, A2 and Oxbridge level German and GCSE level French. My teaching has consistently been graded 'Outstanding' or 'Good with outstanding features' by OFSTED. I have also worked as a tutor in adult education to support learners in enhancing their German and French subject knowledge.
Teaching Approach:
I thrive on the excitement of watching students' self-confidence grow as we work together. I endeavour to make grammar accessible and to support my students in overcoming any obstacles they may face in meeting their full potential. My lessons are lively, engaging and interactive so that my students are kept on their toes while enjoying their learning!
