Personal Description:
Hello, my name is Angel and I'm a native Spanish speaker from Argentina. I also lived for six years in Paris and am fluent in French. I have a masters level degree in Languages and Translation, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training. I live Stoke on Trent.
Teaching Experience:
I have 15 years of experience in language teaching (Spanish, French and English) in a number of different schools and language institutes, from primary and secondary schools to corporate language training centres and universities (Univerité de Paris Sud). I have also worked as a Lecturer in Psychology at Bromley and Orpington College and in South Devon College in Paignton. I prepare students for their A levels or International Baccalaureate in languages and Psychology.
Teaching Approach:
My main focus in language tutoring is on communication, but I also have experience in preparing students for official examinations, and business and academic needs. I always take the time to discuss your requirements with you to work out a programme that will best suit your needs and what you're interested in getting from your language classes.
For my classes, I provide all the material myself (photocopies, handouts, textbook) all included in the price per hour.

Ángel is really accommodating of my Dad’s busy schedule and is really flexible which makes such a difference. My Dad has said he really feels his Spanish has made massive improvements in only a few weeks! We hope to continue lessons with Ángel for many more weeks/ months to come.

Angel is also observant on identifying key areas of improvement and structures our lessons accordingly while at the same time being open to focusing on a particular topic that I would like to cover. Each lesson is paced nicely too so have never felt material is rushed and he is always patient with the exercises which is exactly what you want. Ángel has been tutoring my daughter AS level Psychology for a quick revision in order to help her in those areas she needed the most, ready for her May’s mocks. During this time, he has established a very good rapport with my daughter, developing both her enthusiasm and confidence in the subject which she needed. I have found Ángel to be reliable, well organised, productive and professional and always keen and happy to go beyond. He is vey methodical and organzas when structuring and planning his sessions which helps the student to maximise their learning. The material he provides is excellent . My son thinks the sessions are interesting and useful which o have not heard from his before !’ I would certainly recommend Angel as a tutor .

Not only he is organised and has provided me with many PowerPoints for my Alevel psychology class, he also makes me feel as though I improve every lesson! He also provides me with homework and marks it with me which is fundamental for a levels.

I'm in University and sometimes I find it hard to navigate some of my modules but Angel is very encouraging and helps me improve every aspect of my modules. I have learnt so much from his sessions. Each lesson is tailored to my needs specifically, and I love the speaking element to it as speaking is something that's incredibly important in a language and we do next to none of it at school. He engaged them in different ways, sustaining their interest for 2 hour sessions with ease. The focused on grammar and he managed to get them to speak in comfortably in Spanish.
