Personal Description:

I am fluent in French and my mother tongue is English. I gained a 2:1 in French and the History of Art from the University of Birmingham in 2013 and I have lived and worked in Burkina Faso (country in French speaking West Africa), France and the UK. I am also a qualified TEFL teacher (CELTA 2014). I am friendly and happy to adapt my teaching style to suit individual needs.

Teaching Experience:

Voluntary teaching assistant in French classes in UK comprehensive: 3 months.

English and French tutor in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso: 7 months Sept 2014-Mar 2015.

Cambridge English intensive TEFL qualification: 1 month Jul-August 2014.

Teaching Approach:

I am just starting out as a tutor to supplement my main income. I am outgoing and eager to deliver great lessons. I have some experience teaching French and would aim for a communicative approach (lots of target language used).
