Personal Description:
I am a French national with over 15 years of experience teaching languages in Secondary schools. I have 2 children aged 6 and 9 who are bilingual. I love travelling and last year I spent some time away before coming back to Jersey.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching in Jersey for over 15 years in secondary schools from Primary up to A-Level. I was on a gap year where I taught English to French national, something different that I really enjoyed. I have been tutoring students at home and online for over 5 years now.
Teaching Approach:
Interactive approach to teaching with an emphasis on speaking and discussing current affair topic. Role plays practice.
Listening/ watching/ reading authentic materials that are linked to the country of the language learnt such as podcast, music, newspapers.
Use of some website such as Quizlet and online resources to practise vocabulary recall and grammar practise.
