Information About Alba - Clapham teacher

Personal Description:

Following my Master's degree in Teaching of Compulsory Secondary Education and Diplomas of Secondary Education, Vocational Training and Language from the University of Salamanca in Spain, I got qualified as a teacher under the EC Directive.
Being a native Spanish speaker has been a great advantage as I am in the position to understand the mechanics and uses of the language within a Spanish context. On the other hand, I have lived, studied and taught in England for the last two years. This has enabled me to reach a proficient level of knowledge of the English language, both academic and conversational. I am certified in Advanced English (Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) University of Cambridge ESOL, 2020, CEFR level: C1).
I am fond of teaching because I can be useful to other people who need me and this gives me the greatest satisfaction. The fact that I have studied and learned languages since I was a child has developed a special love for my work. In addition, teaching in the United Kingdom over the last two years has helped me to identify new ways of teaching to students with different backgrounds and help them succeed.

Teaching Experience:

I am a native Spanish speaking tutor with over 3 years of experience. I hold my English QTS and a teaching master's degree. I have worked as a teacher in private and public schools in London. I also have been teaching a variety of subjects in the past including Spanish, English, History of Art, History, and Geography amongst others. Further to daily teaching with pupils I continuously liaised with the students' parents (where appropriate) in order to plan the best possible lessons for my pupils. Every lesson is highly tailored to each of my pupils.

Teaching Approach:

The main strength of my tutoring method is flexibility and adaptability to the needs of the students.
With regard to the material and the amount of work that has to be done, from my experience so far it is always possible to arrange them so that they suit both myself and my pupil.
I am using AQA's past papers when suitable. Frequently gives the desirable result. I am always willing to discuss any further questions regarding my teaching methods or anything else.
