Personal Description:

I help non-native English speakers build their confidence so they can express themselves calmly, clearly and naturally in English, both in and outside of work. I do this because I understand what it feels like to lack confidence when you speak English. I am also a language learner who has struggled with feeling nervous and thinking that people were judging me when I spoke rather than trying to enjoy a conversation and communicate clearly. Speaking another language is supposed to be an amazing experience and I want that to be true for you too.

Teaching Experience:

I started teaching English in 2007 and since then I have worked with children, teenagers and adults in China, Hungary, Spain and the UK. In 2017 I wanted to reach more people, so I expanded my work online and since then I have worked with over 80 English learners. I have taught a range of levels from elementary to advanced.

Teaching Approach:

The main goal of my lessons is to help you find strategies to build your confidence speaking English. If you are at a lower level it could take the form of developing your vocabulary and speaking so that your fluency grows and you do not feel held back or anxious when it comes to talking in different situations. If you are at a high level it could be coaching so that we can delve into where you lack of confidence started and why it continues.
