Personal Description:
Award-winning PhD Candidate in Bioengineering at Imperial College London, with 5+ years of experience in private tutoring and teaching classes at university.
I am currently a final year PhD Candidate in the Department of Bioengineering of Imperial College London working on an interdisciplinary project which involves Physics, Optical Engineering and Programming.
Before going to college, I studied in a French International high-school In South of France, where I prepared for the French OIB Baccalaureate (option Internationale du Baccalauréat) which included Maths, Physics, Chemistry, French plus 7 hours of English Literature (Joyce, Shakespeare… ) and 4 hours of History and Geography in English. I was awarded the French Baccalaureate with highest honours (Mention Très Bien) in 2012 with a 19/20 mark in English and English Literature. I also prepared the Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) in 2011 (Pass)
Teaching Experience:
2015: Hands-on project (6 months) in kindergaten and primary schools "Air and Electricity explained to children", explaining the principles of air and electricity to children aged 3 to 11 years old, using scale models and workshops.
2018: Graduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London in Maths and Biology
One of my best students that I was preparing for university admission interviews in Electrical Engineering (Imperial College and the University of Cambridge) was offered his first choice: a place in Trinity College Cambridge!
Teaching Approach:
When a tutor is capable of creating passion and curiosity for a subject, learning becomes a game… Whether it be learning Science or a language, it should be fun after all!
