I am an enthusiastic patient and passionate teacher. I am interested in reading detective stories as well as biographies, listening to music - from pop to opera, watching ballet, gardening, cooking, and decorating cakes. My biggest passion is horse riding and I specialize in dressage. I would absolutely love teaching ESL online because it allows me the freedom to choose my own working hours, thus I can spend more time with my son. It also allows me to work from anywhere whilst meeting new people continuously.

I have taught Zulu at University level as well as College level. Taught Ballet to young children and horse riding to Autistic children. Taught children from m different embassies English.

Tutoring Approach:

When teaching I am energetic, positive, playful, and enthusiastic. My goal is always to foster a fun and safe working environment for the student and to allow the student to really explore the English language with me. I make sure to understand every individual student, so as to create a methodology, specific to each student. All learners learn in a different way and I consider it as my responsibility as teacher, to understand the student.
I am aware of online ESL teaching techniques such as TPR, facial expressions and props and am able to incorporate these in my lessons. I also make use of a reward system to further encourage students. My lessons are based on a communicative, student-centered approach which focuses on skills rather than systems.

My classes follow a practical and situation-based approach to develop fluency and ease in the English language. I like to teach English in context so that you can easily apply it to everyday situations- whether it be at school, work or on holiday. This is what I mean by a ''situational approach''.

For CHILDREN:
My overall aim is to get children to love English, to engage with the language and feel completely natural in using it. My lessons are based on the essential four skills of language learning: speaking, writing, reading and listening.

-I combine language learning with physical activity, drama and voice exercises.

-Grammar is taught in a fun and engaging way, through games and activities- all tailor-made for your level, age and needs.

-Vocabulary is an important part of my lessons and I teach it in a hands-on way through stories, games and fun language activities.

I hand-pick my own activities and homework to set you after the lesson so that you make progress during the whole weI am a passionate and dedicated English teacher with over 11 years experience of working with children, adults of all levels, nationalities and professions. I am a Modern Languages graduate from one of the top universities in the world, and have previously worked with the British Council in Paris, the British Embassy in Paris and as an English teacher in Russia, France, Spain and Italy.
