Information About Priyanka - Free State tutor

Personal Description:

My name is Priyanka, I've graduated from Stellenbosch University with a degree in Mathematical Sciences with a focus in Biomathematics. Last year I pursued my honours degree in Mathematical Sciences which took place at African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (Muizenburg, South Africa) whereby I surfed and studied (a great combination I believe). I am passionate, persistent and positive, attributes that I think make me a determined tutor.

Tutoring Experience:

I tutored Engineering Mathematics to second year students at Stellenbosch University, I was also employed by Brightsparkz Tutoring whereby I tutored Applied Mathematics to university students as well.

Tutoring Approach:

This focus in Biomathematics allows me to approach mathematics in an applied manner, I therefore like to link mathematics to the real world. I think it is indeed important to first understand the definitions and theorems, but thereafter practising examples helps many learners solidify what they have learnt.
