Personal Description:

My name is Lindsay and I am passionate about educating the youth of South Africa. I have experience teaching grades 4, 5, 9, 10 and 11. I love my job and would like to extend my position to one-on-one tutoring. Some of my other interests include reading, movies, being outdoors and spending time with my family, friends and pets. I consider myself to be very down-to-earth and someone who is very easy to get along with. I am also very organised and therefore will do my best to improve your child's understanding of the school curriculum.

Tutoring Experience:

I have one year of experience as a High school teacher where I taught EMS and Accounting to Grades 9,10 and 11. And another 3 years of experience working in a Primary school teaching all subjects to Grade 4 and 5. I will be teaching Grade 5 again this year.

Tutoring Approach:

Preparation is key to my job as a tutor. I will make sure to be as prepared as possible before I arrive at a lesson and be as patient as possible in bringing my message across to my student. I will focus largely on your child's understanding of a concept and make sure they enjoy the lesson.
