Personal Description:
I'm have a BSc, BSc(Hons), and an MSc.
I've always been curious about the world around me; my curiosity tends to usually have me gravitate towards multidisciplinary thinking.
During my spare time, I draw, play chess, and read.
Tutoring Experience:
I've tutored university level biology for the past two years, and I've also gotten the opportunity to manage a small team of tutors.
My other experiences linked to teaching include being a microbiology laboratory demonstrator; my tasks included explaining the usage of basic lab tools (e.g. light compound microscopes) to 2nd-year science students.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring can be described as a mosaic of different techniques I've tried throughout my undergraduate career (mind-mapping, Cornell note-taking method, Kaizen philosophy), with a strong focus on the fundamentals.
A solid understanding of the basics allows the mind to retain its natural agility, even when confronted with new problems.
