Information About Adel - Prieska tutor

Personal Description:

I adore teaching piano / keyboard, especially for beginners if you are anything between 5 & 105 years of age. I have been playing piano since I was 6 years old. It's always been my passion to teach others to play the piano. I instruct in both Afrikaans or English.

Tutoring Experience:

I've done casual piano teaching for about 2 years. All my students made lots of progress and as I teach them it feels that I'm living my dream and fufilling my calling in life. I am patient and teaching piano is my greatest passion.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach is definitely to teach you to read music notation which I believes opens up a whole world of music for you especially if you learn the 23 most important notes which I'll teach you. You will also obtain an understanding of all music scales through a very simple method. My approach is that the student must love what they do and enjoy what they do. A person that loves what they do and shows a lot of interest and enthusiasm gives me a lot to work with, but if a person is not interest I can not force them to show interest or to practise regularly. I'm not strict and will not force anyone to practise. My dream is to teach you in a way that you will be self motivated and hopefully over time you will fall in love with playing the piano / keyboard. That's my aim. Anybody can play the piano. Everybody should give it a try.
