Personal Description:
I am a qualified secondary Science, Mathematics, and Biology teacher, as well as a Registered Nurse specialising in neonatal nursing. I love working with students to find their gifts and abilities, and show them how Science and Mathematics can be applied to many different careers. I have most recently been teaching secondary Science and Biology at Hamilton Christian School, with my students achieving excellent results. I am part time nursing, and part time relief teaching and tutoring, as I enjoy both equally.
Tutoring Experience:
I have three years teaching experience up to year 13 Biology, and have 2 years experience NICU nursing
Tutoring Approach:
I approach tutoring by showing students how fun and exciting Science and Mathematics really is. As I have real world experience in the application of these subjects through my nursing experience, I am able to show students that these subjects are useful, and can take them many places. I also have a wealth of knowledge and resources accumulated through my own teaching practice, that I use to support students.
