Hi, I am Elisha. I am incredibly enthusiastic and passionate about teaching. I have a very patient attitude, and I can explain the most difficult things in the simplest of ways. I genuinely believe that everyone has A*s in them, and that anyone can attain it, given the right guidance at the right time and students own hard work. Also, I am conscientious and enjoy the satisfaction of helping someone improve and achieve levels of attainment that they did not think they were capable of doing.
Tutoring Experience:
I have ten full academic years' experience as a full-time private tutor. My role addresses the pitfalls of a mainstream education by truly individualising it, and is perfected through thousands of hours of experience of striving to achieve precisely that with a vast array of students of differing abilities and needs.
I manage a large client book of up to eighty students at any one time and have a high volume of returning customers, attracting many personal recommendations.
Tutoring Approach:
When preparing students for exams, I focus on three areas: subject knowledge, exam practice/technique and time management skills. I do extensive research ahead of exam season and work through a range of exam techniques with my tutees including question spotting, mark scheme reports, examiner reports and prediction.

I can’t recommend Elisha enough. He’s transformed how my child sees maths and learning in general. Total game-changer.
His exam techniques were a game-changer. I used to struggle with timing and structuring my answers, but he broke it all down in a way that finally worked. He’s patient, super dedicated, and genuinely cares about his students. If you need a tutor who gets it, he’s your guy.
Then we found Elisha.
From the very first session, Elisha went above and beyond. He didn’t just teach Ahmed maths, he understood him. He took the time to really get to know him—not just as a student, but as a person. Elisha’s calm, patient approach was exactly what Ahmed needed. He created a learning environment where he felt safe, where he didn’t feel judged or pressured. And slowly, Ahmed started to believe in himself again.
Elisha’s incredible ability to simplify complex topics and break them down in a way that made sense to Ahmed was game-changing.
