Personal Description:

I am a qualified accountant. I have worked in the Government and private sector as an accountant and Finance Manager. I am currently living in Rotorua but I have also lived in Hamilton, Tauranga and Dunedin.

Tutoring Experience:

For 21 years I was employed in the United Arab Emirates as lecturer of Accounting, Economics and Business Studies at a well respected tertiary College.
In New Zealand I worked as a tutor at Tairawhiti Polytechnic in Gisborne from 1989 to 1994.
I have 24 years experience as a tutor at tertiary level in Gisborne and in the United Arab Emirates. I have been teaching accounting and other business subjects to classes of between two and thirty students. The educational environment was always multicultural.

Tutoring Approach:

I provide lessons at all levels of Accounting and Business Studies. Using email I will send you notes in response to your queries and we can arrange a video discussion using Skype (or similar App) to any location.
I am a very experienced teacher and I relate well to students. I enjoy my role of helping and motivating students to learn accounting and to challenge them to achieve the best results.
The advantage of engaging me as your tutor is that I can adapt lessons to suit the individual student or a small group of students. I have many years of tutoring experience in a multicultural environment in New Zealand and in the UAE.
