Personal Description:
I am a female teacher who loves working with students who find Maths difficult. I have had considerable success with getting failing students up to at least achievement level . I specialise in helping Year 9 to Year 12 students. 2014 - 2022 results most of my students have a Merit in all standards and a few with excellences.
Tutoring Experience:
I have over 40 years experience in the classroom. I have taught in both private and state schools.I am a registered teacher with up to date knowledge of Achievement standards. At present I am not accepting L3 Students as my work load doesn't allow me the time needed to do a good job but if I have a space I will consider them.
Tutoring Approach:
Tutoring Approach: I aim to adapt my tutoring to the needs of each individual student. What we cover will depend on the student's and parent's requests, and also correspond to their school lessons and/or exams. I have a number of different ways of teaching and explaining concepts in order to suit most students' learning. My approach is to set smaller goals that we can achieve each session while working toward an ultimate goal.

From Sebastian (/5): My son has only had 2 sessions with Caroll - but she has very quickly helped him to understand parts of Maths that he was finding difficult. He knows if he doesn't understand something in class then he can go through it with Caroll, which is great for him. Caroll is an excellent tutor, good communication and flexible with her time. Really glad we decided to go ahead with her.

Caroll explains him a lot and does different math problems with my son trying to help him with the area he struggles and Caroll give us a feedback at the end of the lesson which is great .
