Personal Description:

I am a dedicated and patient tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students achieve their best. I completed my studies at Aorere College (2022–2023), excelling in subjects such as History, Social Studies, English, and Accounting. I earned multiple awards, including NCEA Level 2 and Level 3 certificates with top marks in History and Accounting, as well as recognition for attendance and Tikanga through the Virtus certificate. I am currently pursuing a BCom/LLB conjoint degree at the University of Auckland, studying Business, Accounting, Economics, and Law.

Tutoring Experience:

Although I have not formally tutored students before, I have consistently helped classmates understand challenging concepts in History, Social Studies, English, and Accounting. I enjoy explaining ideas clearly, guiding others through problems, and supporting them to achieve better results. These experiences have developed my patience, communication skills, and ability to adapt lessons to different learning styles.

I focus on understanding each student’s unique learning style and pace, ensuring they feel supported and confident in every lesson. I break down complex concepts into simple, relatable explanations and encourage questions to deepen understanding. My approach is patient, structured, and goal-oriented—I aim not just for better grades, but for genuine comprehension and long-term learning skills. I also motivate students by celebrating progress, helping them build confidence and independence in their studies.
