Personal Description:

I can help you with anatomy, physiology, IB Biology, IB Biology HL, IB Biology SL, and high school and college-level biology subjects. Being a biology tutor comes from my interest in creating a positive learning environment through support, accessibility, and enthusiasm. The teaching process helps me better learn subjects, while it is gratifying to help other succeed academically.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science, having majored in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry. I began instructing while in the military. Also, I've been a peer-led training leader and learning assistant for human anatomy courses.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in providing students with the tools needed to succeed, while creating a lively, comfortable learning environment. I can articulate concepts in different ways and provide study tips when necessary. To engage students, I'll ask them to explain concepts and provide examples, and also encourage them to continue practicing with real-world scenarios when possible.
